Penton Media's Electronics Group Announces Strategic Partnership with Merrill Research & Associates

High-tech publisher and leading research firm join forces to create syndicated research and independent survey programs for OEM product marketers

Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, February 12, 2002 - The Penton Electronics Group has signed an exclusive agreement with Merrill Research & Associates to provide a far-reaching program of objective, custom research services for technology marketers in the electronics OEM. The parties said they plan to co-brand two major syndicated research projects in 2002, and will work jointly on several vendor-sponsored projects throughout the year.

According to Group Publisher Tom Morgan of the Penton Electronics Group, the agreement allows Penton to offer a broad range of qualitative and quantitative services to advertising customers while providing unique opportunities to create groundbreaking research initiatives.
